First off, let's talk about Sud-Ouest. Although the paper's name indicates a focus on the south west of France, it really covers most of the west, and is one of the papers in France least affected by drops in subscriptions, mainly because of local focuses. They also have very good foreign reportage, and as I was searching the site, I found a lot on a French minister of funds who was arrested in New York this week for (alleged) sexual assault.

And next, some Twitter goodness. My Twitter account is one from my country, and the Twitter of Georgia news source
GeorgiaTimes.info. The Twitter and website are in English, which makes understanding easier, especially since Google Translate is clumsy at best. The Twitter gives very short, not very descriptive accounts of articles, with links. But the articles themselves are very in depth, and you can scan topics by the brief descriptions on the Twitter.
